Core Collab
Core Collab builds two kinds of machines, and knowing which you want makes this collection easy to shop. On one side sit its megaformer-style trainers for Lagree-method workouts; on the other, folding and studio Pilates reformers. The brand, cofounded by Jennifer Grehan after 25 years in the reformer industry, backs every machine with a 10-year warranty and a 21-day home trial, a combination no other brand in our catalog offers.
Megaformer or reformer: choosing a Core Collab machine
The megaformer side is for time-under-tension training: slow, heavy, constant-resistance work in the Lagree style rather than classical repertoire. The Core Collab Megaformer is the full-size machine, built for home and gym use, and the Sculptformer Dimi is the compact version for homes that cannot give up the footprint. If you are still weighing formats, the megaformer collection shows every machine of this type we carry.
The reformer side splits by space. The Queen is the flagship: a studio reformer sold in a fixed version and as a foldable machine for studios and homes that need the floor back. The Eco line repeats the choice at a simpler level, with the Studio Eco fixed reformer and the Folding Eco. If a machine that stores away is the priority, compare all of our folding reformers before deciding.
The 21-day home trial
Core Collab is the only brand we carry that lets you return a reformer after using it. You get 21 days from delivery: train on the machine, and if it is not right, return it for a refund. You cover return shipping and follow the disassembly and packaging instructions, and the refund is processed after inspection. It removes most of the risk from buying a machine you have never tried in person.
Warranty and delivery
Every Core Collab reformer carries a 10-year warranty against defects under normal use. Freight delivery is free in the continental US, scheduled Monday through Friday. Inspect the shipment before signing and report any damage within 48 hours. Full terms are in the brand-by-brand policy.
Frequently asked questions
What is a megaformer?
A megaformer is a Lagree-method training machine. It looks like a long reformer but is built for slow, high-tension strength work: heavier resistance, a longer platform, and hand and foot positions for moving under constant load. A classical reformer centers on alignment and flowing repertoire; a megaformer centers on intensity.
What is the difference between a megaformer and a reformer?
Training style. Reformers serve classical and contemporary Pilates: spring resistance, carriage work, control and alignment. Megaformer-style machines serve the Lagree method: slower tempos, heavier tension, longer time under load. They are not interchangeable, so choose by the workout you actually want to do at home. Core Collab makes both types, which is rare for one brand.
Are Core Collab machines Lagree machines?
They are built for Lagree-style training, but Core Collab is an independent brand, not part of the Lagree franchise system. The Megaformer and Sculptformer Dimi give you the format, slow constant-tension work on a long platform, without studio-franchise pricing. If you train at a Lagree studio and want the same style at home, this is the practical route.
Can I return a Core Collab reformer if I do not like it?
Yes, within 21 days of delivery, even after using it. Follow the disassembly and packaging instructions, cover the return shipping, and the refund is processed once the machine is inspected. You can also cancel any order free of charge before it ships.
