How to choose a Pilates reformer
Start with four questions. How you will use it, and who will use it, including how tall and heavy they are. How much space you have, and whether the reformer must fold away. What you want to spend.
Then go to the right shelf. Folding and home frames are in Folding reformers and Reformers for home. Daily-class frames are in Studio reformers.
Where the reformer will live
In a shared room or an apartment, a folding frame such as the Align Pilates F3 or the Core Collab Folding Eco stores away between sessions. Elina's vertical reformer stands on end against a wall instead. With a dedicated space, a fixed frame such as the Align A8 Pro or the Elina Nubium needs no setup between sessions.
Wood or aluminum
Wood frames are heavier and feel planted under load. The BASI reformers, Elina's Lignum and wooden models and the maple Align M8-Pro are the wood ones here. Aluminum frames, the Align A8, C8 or R8 series and Elina's Nubium and Classic lines, weigh less and are easier to move. Each has its own page, wood reformers and aluminum reformers.
Reformer alone or with a tower

Home or studio duty
Then decide how hard it will work. A few sessions a week at home and 20 classes a week in a studio are different jobs. Frames such as the Align C8-Pro, Elina's Master Instructor line and the BASI reformers are built for daily classes, though warranty terms vary by brand and model. Home warranties usually exclude studio use, so confirm the setting before you buy.
Shipping, delivery and lead time
Most orders arrive within 7-12 business days (about two weeks). Made-to-order frames can take longer, and we confirm the timing for your address before shipping. We ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
Large items arrive curbside on a freight pallet, and the carrier calls you to schedule the appointment. If you need a liftgate, ask before you order and we confirm it. Unpacking and assembly are on you, and white glove delivery with basic assembly is quoted on request.
Warranty, returns and financing
Warranty terms vary by brand and model. Elina Pilates covers the frame and rails for 10 years on most lines, 5 years on Lignum and Nubium, and 3 years on Domo. The footbar carries the same term, other parts get 2 years, and upholstery gets 90 days.
Core Collab covers the frame for 10 years and the springs and accessories for 3 years. Peak Pilates covers PPS frames for 5 years and MVe, fit or casa frames for 2 years, and Align's terms differ between its home and commercial lines.

What is the difference between a home and a studio reformer?
Duty cycle. A studio reformer is built and warrantied for hours of daily use by clients of every size. A home reformer is rated for a few sessions a week, and its warranty usually excludes commercial use, so confirm the setting before you buy.
Are folding reformers as good as fixed ones?
The good ones keep the same spring resistance and carriage glide. The trade-offs are a setup step before each session and fewer accessory options on some models. If you have the floor space, a fixed frame is simpler to live with.
Can I assemble a Pilates reformer myself?

You can cancel within 24 hours of purchase. Address changes: contact us ASAP; once processed or shipped, changes may not be possible.
Brand-dependent. Most small accessories: 30 days, unused, original packaging; return shipping and 20–30% restocking may apply. Large equipment is often final sale once shipped. If unsure, ask before buying.
Report within 48 hours with photos (product, packaging, shipping label). We’ll coordinate repair/replacement/refund with the supplier.
